How the technology works
How Thermalytix® identifies possible abnormalities
Abnormal tissue activity can sometimes produce changes in heat and blood-flow patterns. Thermalytix creates a detailed temperature map of the breast and uses artificial intelligence to analyse these patterns, including unusual areas of warmth, vascular activity and asymmetry.
When the analysis identifies a pattern that may be associated with a possible malignancy or another breast abnormality, it is highlighted in the screening report for clinical review and appropriate follow-up.
Supporting informed clinical decisions: Thermalytix identifies possible risk by highlighting thermal and vascular patterns that may require further investigation. This information assists healthcare specialists with cancer risk identification, clinical assessment and diagnosis.
